Focus hours are the lifetime sum of every focus session you have completed on Peazehub.
What is counted
Only the focus portion of a completed session:
- Counted — the focus interval of any session that ran to zero
- Not counted — breaks, paused-and-abandoned sessions, time with the timer stopped
A 25/5 Pomodoro adds 25 minutes, not 30. A 50/10 block adds 50.
Why abandoned sessions are excluded
The timer writes to your stats at the moment it reaches zero, not continuously. A session closed at minute 24 of 25 records nothing.
This is what makes the number comparable across accounts. Focus hours cannot be edited, imported, or entered by hand — the only way to accumulate them is to run the timer to the end.
What focus hours drive
Your lifetime total determines your rank, from Bronze at zero hours to Mythic at 2,501. The full ladder is in focus ranks.
They are also the sort key for the leaderboard, though the leaderboard windows only the current week or month rather than your lifetime total.
Where to see the total
Your statistics page shows the lifetime figure, along with:
- Total completed sessions
- Average session length
- Focus time per day, week and month
- The activity heatmap, which is the same data plotted per day
Focus hours and streaks measure different things
A streak counts days. Focus hours count minutes. They move independently — a 200-day streak of 10-minute sessions is about 33 focus hours, while a single intense week can add more than that.
Both are shown because they answer different questions: whether the habit is holding, and how much work went in.
